So, I finally got to do some snow/rallycross.

There was an autocross event through Autosports Northwest out at the Deer Park airport in WA this weekend. I have to say, it was one of the funnest things I've ever done. Here's a couple of pics from my phone and a few my friend snapped. The little Impreza OBS is mine and the blue Forester and white Legacy belong to some friends. I'll definitely be doing this again.

Most of us had snows, but one of the Outbacks had all seasons and was even rocking the space saver spare. The little red new Impreza was on factory tires and their times showed it.

There were a few mildly modified Subarus, but almost everyone was nearly bone stock like me. All I have is a bigger rear sway bar and solid end links.

ah right on, I bet they still had a blast though.

I wonder if they do anything like this in my neck of the woods. I know north of me here we have the SnoDrift rally, but that's a wee bit too serious for me, I'd rather be in an rally-x event. Doing it int he snow appeals to me because your car won't be inhaling dust the whole time, lol.
